B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering)PREC provides an eco-friendly, pollution-free environment with a lush green campus and pleasant ambience. The college offers a bus service for students coming from surrounding cities. High security is provided with CCTV cameras and security guards on campus and hostels. Both girls' and boys' hostels are very well structured and can accommodate up to 500 girls and 240 boys. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is decent. Reading rooms provided in the hostels are well kept. The college building is well-constructed with room for multiple labs provided for experimentation and study. The library is full of reference books, along with a huge reading area.
Pravara Rural Engineering College campus is Wi-Fi enabled with good speed. Medical facilities are available for students in case of emergencies. Sports and games facilities are available in the hostel. There are a total of seven labs on campus installed with state-of-the-art equipment.
Classrooms: PREC provides ICT-enabled classrooms and seminar halls for students to receive a better learning experience through audio-visual aids. The modern classrooms provide an excellent teaching-learning environment supported by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members.
Laboratories: The computer lab is equipped with more than 600 computers connected using LAN for unrestricted internet access. Other labs in PREC are chemistry lab, software lab, hardware lab, wind tunnel lab, precision survey lab and a microprocessor laboratory.
Hostel: The Pravara Rural Engineering College provides accommodations for students and staff on the campus with all modern amenities. There are separate hostels for girls and first-year students with a capacity of up to 500 girls and 240 boys. The hostel fees range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 24,000 including facilities such as RO drinking water service, medical facility, 24x7 security, gymkhana, wi-fi connectivity, playground and solar water heater.
Cafeteria: The cafeteria on the PREC campus serves full meals and snacks to the students and staff every day. A mess facility is also available for Rs 28,000 for students staying at the college hostel.
